I LOVED this session. Ashley had sent me some beautiful black and white images of a couple on top of a rooftop for inspiration. We chose to shoot at The Standard Hotel downtown Los Angeles. We tried calling multiple times to make sure a photography session was allowed there, but no response, so we risked it! The couple had some camera shy nerves and took a couple tequila shots before we started to get some liquid courage! After about thirty minutes of shooting on this amazing rooftop in the heart of downtown, a security guard kindly told us we needed to leave and that photography was not allowed. After getting kicked out, we battled through traffic to get to 1st street bridge that has a beautiful view of the DTLA skyline. Some great candids of the couple were captured. This couple could not have been more fun! Matt was calm and as an actor, used to being in front of the camera! He made Ashley so comfortable and their love connection was unreal! A+M were so playful together and their laughter was contagious. I had so much fun third wheeling with these two and I hope they cherish these photos forever.
