Asheville, NC an intimate wedding

An intimate Asheville Wedding
8/29/20

This was another special shoot for me. Maggie, a roommate of mine from college asked me to shoot her small intimate wedding in North Carolina.  I hadn’t seen Maggie in what felt like a century and felt so touched that she asked me to be apart of her wedding day.  I was also so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to finally meet the man in her life, Michael. I had heard so much about him and could not wait to meet this man that has brought her an abundance of happiness.

Maggie and Michael live in a house off in the country side. It was amazing that the house down the road was listed as an AirBnb and had a beautiful backyard that over looked a pond. PERFECT for the ceremony site/reception. Maggie, her mom and both of her sisters got ready at her house, while Michael and his family got ready down the hill at the Airbnb. The bride and groom decided to take the traditional route and waited to see each other until walking down the aisle. Because it was another Covid wedding, Maggie and Michael had a monitor set up for more of their loved ones to watch the couple exchange their vows. The ceremony was sunny, heartfelt and perfect.

Once they tied the knot, the couple and I drove off to an AMAZING location down the road that overlooked the beautiful mountain range in NC. Michaels maroon suite was such a perfect contrast with the lush green fields.

This summer wedding was everything Maggie and Michael could have wanted. I am so happy that my job has allowed me to capture so much love and meaningful memories.
