This elopement was INSANELY beautiful. Lena, an Australian native, originally planned to marry her groom, Greg, back at home on her stomping grounds. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, Lena and Greg were unable to travel internationally to have the wedding of their dreams. BUT there was no stopping these two. They pulled the trigger and planned a small ceremony and contacted me to shoot their special day. I said OF COURSE! I had already booked a wedding that same weekend back in the midwest, so I changed my flight, shot their day and hopped on a redeye back to Indiana and I am SO glad I did!  L+G were determined and committed to still get married on the timeline they wanted and I am beyond thankful we could make it work!

Greg’s parents were the perfect hosts for this intimate wedding. The ceremony was on the rooftop terrace of their beautiful beach front home in Playa Del Rey, California. It was decorated with AMAZING florals. They said stated their vows right at sunset.

The pastel sky perfectly matched the blush, bohemian tones of the entire day. Lena and Greg were on cloud nine celebrating their committed lifetime together while Greg’s immediate family stood by and Lena’s loved ones watched virtually on a Zoom call.

After some family photos, Lena Greg and I walked down to the shoreline and capture some BEAUTIFUL photos of just the two of them, basking in their love. I will forever love these photos captured on their special day.
